Disc Golf Rules for Beginners
The simple rules you need for your first few rounds.
Core rules
Throw from the tee, mark or play from your lie, count every throw, and complete the hole in the basket. The player farthest from the basket usually throws next.
Out of bounds and hazards
If your disc lands out of bounds, add a penalty stroke and play from the marked drop zone or where the disc last crossed in bounds, depending on the course rules.
Etiquette
Do not throw into other groups, stay quiet during throws, let faster groups play through, and pack out trash.
